1. PRAY
All effort to share the Gospel should start with prayer. We should pray for: God to be glorified in and through us, for opportunities to share the Gospel Message, and for those who have yet to receive the Message. It is a good to be specific. Pray for those in your “sphere” that have yet to believe the Gospel.
2. RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
Coldwater Evangelism and “One-Hit Wonder” methods are among the least effective forms of evangelism – long term. They may seem to have high numbers but often lack lasting impact. True evangelism (sharing the Gospel) is a form of discipling people before they become Christians.
3. EAT
The hardest part! Eat with those that you are working toward winning to Christ. It doesn’t just have to be food. Hang out with people. Have conversations. Play games. Anything to invite them into your life.
4. ACKNOWLEDGE GOD
Pretty straightforward. Simply acknowledge the reality of God operating in your life. Acknowledge the power of the Gospel over your circumstances.
5. CURIOUSITY
Learn about others. Don’t just listen to respond. But study other people. Feel what they’re going through. Doing this will help you understand how the Gospel applies to them.
6. HELP
Find ways to help them. Serve them and let them serve and help you. And when the opportunity presents itself, help them in the greatest way of all – with the Gospel Message.
